Different Journeys.

Same Builder Heart.

Every leader who connects with BusinessWhitt shares one thing in common — the Builder mindset. You’ve built teams, companies, systems, or careers that worked on paper but cost too much of your life. Now you’re ready to build again — this time with purpose, clarity, and a framework that serves the life you actually want to live.

Two curved arrows, one pointing down, the other pointing up, indicating a process of exchange or refresh.

The Rebuilder

You’ve built success that started running you. Now you’re ready to rebuild the structure so it serves your freedom, not consumes it.

No matter where you start –

rebuilding, redefining, or beginning

The heart behind it is the same:
to build something that works
for your life, not against it

That’s the heartbeat of BusinessWhitt — helping Builders align People, Process, and Profits so they can live and lead with freedom, purpose, and peace.

Helping Builders Design a Life That Works

After thirty years in architecture, engineering, and construction, I’ve learned this simple truth:
Success without peace is just another project you’ll have to redo.

I’ve managed multi-million-dollar builds, led high-performance teams, and rebuilt my own life—more than once. I know what it’s like to create something impressive on the outside while feeling boxed in on the inside.

That realization became the blueprint for BusinessWhitt — a place for Builders, Transitioning Leaders, and Entrepreneurs who refuse to sacrifice their life for their business.

The Builder Heartbeat

A Builder isn’t defined by an industry — it’s a mindset.

Builders are the ones who create. Who carry the weight. Who see possibility and make it real.
Some run companies. Some ran corporate divisions. Some guide others as coaches or leaders.

Different stories.
Same heart.

Every Builder I work with shares one ache and one hope —
They’ve built something that runs, but not something that lets them live.
And they’re ready to rebuild it — this time, on their own terms.

Why BusinessWhitt Exist

At BusinessWhitt, we believe you were meant to build a business that serves your life, not one that steals it.
Our mission is simple:
Help Builders get their life back by aligning
People, Process, and Profits through the WholeLife Leadership model.

We teach the frameworks that make your business work for you —
and the mindset that keeps your heart in the game.

Because when your work, faith, and purpose move in the same direction, you don’t just build a company —
you build a legacy that outlives the next fiscal year.

Where It All Changed

Years ago, when I was volunteering at the Portland Rescue Mission, I walked in thinking I was there to teach.
I walked out realizing I was the one being taught.

Standing in front of those men, talking about life and purpose, I felt a joy I hadn’t known in years — the kind that doesn’t come from profit margins or milestones.
I remember driving home that night, feeling like I’d just danced like David.

That moment rekindled something I’d nearly buried under deadlines and deals: the truth that generosity is the secret engine of success.
It became the heart of everything I teach today — in leadership, in business, and in life.

Who I Serve

I coach Builders — people who have built something before and are ready to build again, but differently this time.

Some are business owners whose companies started running them.
Some are executives breaking free from corporate life to start their next venture.
Some are leaders and coaches who want to grow without losing themselves in the process.

Different stories.
Same desire — to build a life that works.

What I Teach

Through my two frameworks —
WholeLife Leadership (design your life)
and
The Checkmate Method (build the business that serves it) —

What is the Concept of a Generous Mindset?

The concept of a generous mindset revolves around willingly giving more than what is typically expected or customary, without any expectation of receiving something in return. It involves acts of selflessness and kindness that can positively impact others and society as a whole. Generosity can take various forms, including giving of one’s time, talent, and treasure. Let’s explore each of these forms and their potential impacts:

Time

Four people in suits listening to a person. They appear happy and engaged. Indoors, office-like setting.

Giving Time: Giving your time involves offering your presence, attention, and assistance to others. This can include volunteering for a charitable organization, spending time with family and friends, mentoring someone, or simply being there to listen and support others. The impact of giving time can be profound, as it demonstrates care, empathy, and a willingness to invest in the well-being of others.

Talent

Giving Talent: Giving your talent involves utilizing your unique skills, expertise, and abilities to benefit others. This can take the form of sharing knowledge, teaching or coaching others, using your creative abilities to create art or music, or using professional skills to help individuals or organizations in need. When you share your talents generously, you can inspire and empower others, fostering personal growth and positive change.

Treasure

Volunteers packing food into bags at a table, including canned goods, bananas, and bottled water.

Giving Treasure: Giving treasure refers to donating financial resources or material possessions to support causes or individuals in need. It can involve making monetary donations to charities, contributing to community projects, sponsoring education or healthcare initiatives, or providing material goods to those less fortunate. Giving treasure can have a direct and tangible impact by providing resources that enable positive change and address societal challenges.

Why Would Someone Use a Generosity Coach?

  • Your life isn’t as prosperous and joy-filled as it could be.
  • You’re working too hard.
  • You haven’t had “fun” in a long time. Life is full of obligations and responsibilities. Free time is not spent on what you want to do but on what you should do. Fun is a luxury and considered frivolous.
  • You’re unfulfilled.
  • Focus is lacking or scattered. You feel more stressed and more irritable. When you aren’t living a life that is fulfilling for you it’s almost as if there is a constant irritation. You think about it more, and you react with irritability and frustration.
  • You’re not experiencing your full potential.

Uncovering the Hidden Struggles: What Makes Small Business Owners Unhappy?

It is very easy to succumb to failures, but it is very tough to sustain those turbulent times and keep moving.

Exploring the Challenges That Can Diminish Happiness in the Entrepreneurial Journey

Hey there, let’s have an honest chat about something that often goes unspoken: the unhappiness that can creep into the lives of small business owners. Running a business is no easy task, and it’s important to acknowledge the challenges that can dampen our spirits along the way.

You see, small business owners face a unique set of circumstances that can contribute to their unhappiness. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine, despite what some may think. So, let’s dig a little deeper and shed some light on what can bring down their mood.

  1. The Money Woes: Finances can be a constant source of stress for small business owners. From struggling with cash flow to dealing with unexpected expenses, the financial rollercoaster can take its toll and leave them feeling uneasy.
  2. The Never-Ending Workload: The long hours and constant demands of running a business can lead to burnout. Small business owners often find themselves juggling multiple responsibilities and sacrificing personal time, which can chip away at their happiness.
  3. The Weight of Uncertainty: The unpredictable nature of the business world can keep small business owners on edge. With factors like market changes and economic downturns, it’s no wonder that uncertainty can breed unhappiness.
  4. The Overwhelming To-Do List: Small business owners wear many hats and are responsible for a wide range of tasks. From managing operations to handling finances and marketing, the workload can sometimes feel insurmountable, leaving them feeling overwhelmed.
  5. The Loneliness Factor: Entrepreneurship can be a solitary journey. Small business owners may find themselves lacking a support system or feeling isolated, which can contribute to unhappiness and a sense of being on their own.

But here’s the thing, my friend – while these challenges exist, the entrepreneurial journey also brings joy, fulfillment, and the opportunity to make a difference. By acknowledging the struggles, we can better equip ourselves to overcome them and find happiness in our small business ventures.

Remember, you’re not alone in this. Reach out, seek support, and take time for self-care. Let’s navigate these challenges. Join the Generosity Movement with BusinessWhitt. Together, we’ll cultivate happiness in your Small Business Venture! Schedule your discovery call today.
