It’s been a while since I’ve reached out and connected. However, it might not be a bad thing.
In fact I’m pretty certain it’s a good thing. Don’t get me wrong, many of you have reached out with positive comments on my blog previously but I believe version 2.0 is better and here’s why:
The Better Business Results video show shifted my perspective. I’ve now had the opportunity to work with 100’s of small business individuals and as the volume of clients grew I realized more and more how different each business is even if they’re in similar industries.
However, I also realized three specific challenges that affect every business regardless of success or size:
- The first is blind spots. Blind spots prevent us from identifying the “Right next move” for the business. Some owners are stuck altogether, others have ideas but are unclear on what to do next. But one thing is true for everyone. The blind spot might be a strategy or a skill or a critical constraint. One thing is for sure, we’re all doomed to repeat our results without new ideas for change. We all need help uncovering our blind spots. Blind spots are scary and they limit our ability to perform. They stop us from taking steps to dramatically improve our businesses. They impair our decision making ability to the extent that we aren’t able to really reach for our goals. The video below was created to help you uncover and manage your blind spots.
- The second challenge is not having a simple process for effectively translating ideas into money. This however, is something I’m very good at. Having been in the “Projects Space” for almost 40 years. I know these processes back and forth. I know when you can shortcut the model and how to keep the model simple without it getting out of hand. I’ve written a book titled, CheckMate! Proven Tactics for Translating Ideas into Money, more on this later in the next post.
- The third challenge is time. There’s never enough time. Leveraging and prioritizing time is a critical success factor. Clarity is the key for prioritizing your time. Every coaching and training video we produce is designed to enhance clarity. Leverage is king. There are two primary opportunities for leverage. One is technology, in which case you have a technology project and can use the book noted above. The other opportunity is staffing, training and motivating your team. You’ll be excited to know that we have a project in the works designed on creating a culture of success for your team.
